West LRT – Still Hot

WeBA Talks Transportion
with Carson Stobbe

Edmonton’s LRT system has be a hot topic for the better part of the last decade. The proposed addition of the West Valley Line has been highly contested by residents and seems to be back in the spotlight. This new infrastructure will provide service to downtown from as far west as Lewis Estates and proceed East on 87 Ave, head north on 156 Street and then continue East on Stony Plain Road. The increased capacity of the LRT will allow greater quantities of people to move to and from downtown locations such as the U of A, MacEwan University, and Rogers Place. WeBA is interested in your thoughts on the Valley West Line!  Please drop us a line at transportation@weba.org
